Adidas — We Got You
About the film
A brand manifesto bringing together street culture, dance, training and competitive sport. Running, basketball, boxing, swimming and other disciplines form a shared story of effort, confidence and belonging, culminating in the message “We Got You.”
The brief
Express Adidas’s support for people pursuing their own goals. Unite different sports, personalities and environments in an energetic film that feels inclusive, emotionally engaging and recognisably Adidas.
The problem it had to solve visually
Bring a wide range of footage into one coherent story while balancing athletic intensity with human vulnerability. The film needed to make its promise of support feel relevant across both everyday participation and high-level competition.
Close-ups of faces and physical exertion give the action emotional weight. Wide shots establish scale, while low angles, tilted compositions and movement close to the camera create immediacy. Moments of stillness and recovery interrupt the action, making determination and pressure part of the story.
The mix of cinematic colour, monochrome imagery and competition footage creates visual variety. Recurring movement, expressive faces and visible Adidas apparel connect the different scenes.
The outcome
An energetic, people-centred montage that presents sport as a shared experience of effort and possibility. Its combination of struggle, expression and achievement gives the closing “We Got You” message a reassuring role, positioning Adidas alongside the individual throughout their journey.
